Danny Vasquez

I was introduced to DJing by my uncle who would perform at local private events.  At first it was fun to just tag along to watch people dance and sing along to their favorite songs.  I quickly learned that DJing was a bit of science and art all in one. At the age of 17 I played my first wedding and there I was introduced to a different type of event, people of all ages and backgrounds were in one place to celebrate by dancing.  In 1998 I moved to Santa Barbara from Riverside, where I began to play nightclubs and a local radio station. In 2009 Elite Disc Jockeys became my full-time career and I have been a proud small business owner ever since.  I am grateful everyday for my business and my only regret is not starting Elite sooner.
